Code of Conduct for PGConf APAC 2019

Policy

The organizers of PGConf APAC will not tolerate harassment of conference participants in any form. Sexual language and imagery is not appropriate for the conference venue, including; exhibition booths, talks and social events during PGConf APAC. Harassment includes offensive verbal comments related to gender, sexual orientation, disability, physical appearance, race, and religion. Deliberate intimidation, stalking, following, harassing photography or recording, sustained disruption of talks or other events, inappropriate physical contact will not be tolerated. Participants asked to stop any harassing behavior are expected to comply immediately.

Disciplinary Action

If a participant engages in harassing behavior, the PGConf conference organizers may take any action they deem appropriate, including ejection from the conference with no refund. ?| PGConf APAC 2019 team members are available to help participants contact hotel/venue security or the local Police, or otherwise assist those experiencing harassment to feel safe for the duration of the conference.

Reporting Violation

If you feel that you are being harassed, notice that someone else is being harassed or have any other concerns, please contact a member of the conference team as soon as possible. The conference team will be happy to help participants contact hotel/venue security or the police or otherwise assist those experiencing harassment to feel safe for the duration of the conference.
